Kava strips are made using Borogu kava root from Pentecost island, Vanuatu. Each Kava strip has a measured dose of kava with the effect similar to a small serving of kava. Enough to take the edge of a long day at work, however not to strong so you get on with the rest of the day. For those who have tried kava pills or tablets as a way of avoiding the kava taste, but found their effect minimal, this is an ideal alternative.
